We sat down with Sabrina Melder, Online Sales Analyst, as part of our monthly series that profiles unique jobs around Rogers. Sabrina is part of the 2017 New Grad Leadership Development program here at Rogers.
What do you do at Rogers?
I’m a Rogers Wireless Online Sales Analyst and I’m primarily responsible for reporting and insights, and work closely with the Consumer Base Management team on omni-channel offers to drive online sales. I also work with the digital team to optimize high priority pages on Rogers.com, which helps generate customer leads across all channels.
What inspired you to join the team?
Graduating from Ted Rogers School of Management, Rogers had a huge presence in my school-life, and I always wanted to be part of a company that put their customers first. I also liked the fact that the company is fast-paced, innovative, and would give me endless opportunities to develop my career.
You’re part of the New Grad Leadership Development program. How has it set you up for success?
The program is designed to help us make a successful transition from school to work, and succeed in my career by offering resources like monthly workshops, a mentorship program, volunteering opportunities and various networking events. The onboarding week at the start of the program was very thorough and helped us understand each business unit. The Retail part of the experience helped us understand our customer’s concerns first hand – it was eye opening!
Why is the work environment at Rogers well suited for a new grad looking to launch their career?
